A call for Proposals has been issued by the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) through the Forest Conservation Fund. The thematic areas are:
- Alternative Livelihood
- Watershed Conservation
- Natural Disaster Risk Reduction
Eligible organizations include Jamaican Environmental, Conservation and Community Based organizations (non-profit & non-governmental).
Projects which demonstrate collaboration and partnerships (financial or otherwise) are strongly encouraged. Only a maximum equivalent to US$100,000 can be approved per grant; with project duration being no more than 12 months. The Proposals must be signed and hand delivered to the EFJ or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than 3:30 pm on Friday, November 30, 2016.
Please note that potential grantees/applicants intending to submit proposals for this 2016 Call are invited to attend one of the three (3) Proposal Writing Workshops being planned by the EFJ (pre-registration done by contacting the EFJ offices; workshops will only be confirmed if numbers are sufficient).
