Riversdale Community Showcase It’s Gifts; Culture, Art and Sports
The inaugural Social Development Commission’s (SDC) Riversdale CASFest (Culture, Arts, And Sports Festival) was held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Riversdale Community Centre. The event highlighted the diversity of the Riversdale community through its culture, visual and performing arts. The SDC’s Riversdale CASFest offered a plethora of family-related activities and provided local entrepreneurs the opportunity to promote and benefit from the sale of their goods and services.
Of note, the CASFest also included sports, and in excess of 200 residents participated in the talent show, domino, football and netball competitions.
The fun-filled festival attracted more than 2,000 patrons to the quiet rural community and brought together critical stakeholders, inclusive of local economic initiatives (LEIs) thereby bolstering the business development dialogue, networking and partnership at the community level.
St. Catherine Local Economic Initiatives (LEIs) alongside partner agencies display products and services to patrons at the SDC Riversdale CASFest 2018.
