The Social Development Commission (SDC) invites communities, organizations and citizens across Jamaica to participate in Labour Day 2026 through a wide range of community development and beautification projects taking place islandwide. This page highlights community-based Labour Day initiatives being organized in partnership with Community Development Committees (CDCs), schools, youth groups, citizens’ associations and other stakeholders.
Individuals and communities are also encouraged to register their Labour Day projects using the link provided below. By registering your project, you help to strengthen national participation and showcase the spirit of volunteerism and community development across Jamaica.
